The eyelid is turned inward, so that the eyelashes drag on the cornea<\/p>\n\n\n\n\t<ul class=\"accordion\" data-accordion data-allow-all-closed=\"true\" data-multi-expand=\"true\">\n\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"accordion-item grid-x grid-margin-x grid-padding-x\" data-accordion-item>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title small-12 medium-8 large-8 large-offset-4 medium-offset-4 cell\">INTRODUCTION<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"grid-x grid-margin-x grid-padding-x medium-margin-collapse\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-img small-12 medium-4 large-4 cell\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-txt small-12 medium-8 large-8 cell\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Entropion, i.e., lower eyelid is turned inward with possible rubbing of eyelashes on cornea<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Anticipated course with treatment:<\/strong><br \/>\nLower eyelid is back in normal position, and cornea is no longer in danger<\/li>\n<li><strong>Probable course without treatment:<\/strong><br \/>\nContinued discomfort, possible damage to cornea, possible corneal inflammation and scarring.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Treatment alternatives: Sticking lower eyelid outward and downward with adhesive plaster.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"accordion-item grid-x grid-margin-x grid-padding-x\" data-accordion-item>\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title small-12 medium-8 large-8 large-offset-4 medium-offset-4 cell\">TREATMENT<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"grid-x grid-margin-x grid-padding-x medium-margin-collapse\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-img small-12 medium-4 large-4 cell\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-txt small-12 medium-8 large-8 cell\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The eyelid is brought into the correct position by the sutures.
