BIOGRAPHY
Moritz Feil grew up in eastern Switzerland and completed his medical studies in Bern in 2015. He then completed a research year under Prof. Dr. Dr. Mathias Abegg at the Inselspital Bern with a focus on eye movements, where he obtained his doctorate. This was followed by specialist training as an ophthalmologist at the Inselspital Bern and the Kantonsspital St. Gallen. He passed the specialist examination in 2020. After a one-year clinical fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Feil joined the team of the Eye Center Biel in January 2023. Dr. Feil completed his specialist training in ophthalmic surgery under the supervision of Prof. Garweg and was successfully certified in January 2026.
